Product Mastery Conference 2026
Intimate sponsor-free conference with an A-list speaker, high-quality and interactive break-outs.
March 9th 2026 9:30 - 18:30 | Amsterdam
What makes us different?
The product mastery conference was born from our personal network of about 200 product and tech leaders. In our own continuous discovery we’ve found that many of you are hungry for high quality in-person interactions with real product people. No window-dressing, no boring panels, no overwhelming size. Just quality sessions that you can immediately apply.

Max 150 people
When groups get too big the attention drifts and there a certain barrier starts to appear between audience and speaker/moderator. Therefore we keep our conference for product and tech leadersintimate with a hard max of 150 people, which we split into segments after the keynote.
Authentic stories
Ever been to a 'look at how cool I am' talk? Just shallow stories about successes? That is not our forte, we like to keep it real, so all our speakers will share authentic stories. Nothing is edited out, and everything is connected to real life examples on challenges most of recognize (impactful product strategy, effectively communicating with others, keeping your calendar under control, reality vs roadmap and more)
No Sponsors
You're here to learn, have fun, and connect with other product people. Sponsors distract from that. So we skipped them!
Featured Speakers
Melissa Perri
The one and only. She does it all. She taught Product Management at Harvard, currently runs a CPO track and is the author of cornerstone books ESCAPING THE BUILD TRAP, and PRODUCT OPERATIONS.
VIP ONLY | Teresa Torres
Let’s face it: Europe is behind in doing proper discovery. Teresa is THE world-class expert in this topic. She committed to joining PMC for an intimate Q&A session with our VIPs! If you want to get 10 times better at understanding your customers and actually building amazing products, make sure you join.
Jason Knight
He returns! The host of the amazing podcast ‘One Knight in Product’, and an overall fantastic human being. By popular request, Jason returns to PMC this year to host multiple breakouts.
Joy Adamson
Joy Adamson is a fractional product leader and coach (Nike, PVH, TicketSwap, Twelve) who helps companies move into real, outcome-driven product work. In this practical session, you will dissect tricky conversations and learn to translate product talk into the language that others actually listen to.
Martijn Versteeg
Organizer of the conference, Martijn worked with over 237 (product) leaders across Europe in over 20 peer groups. This conference came from the need in his network to connect in a new way. With his own background in growing and selling an Education Technology company and the many stories he gained from working across Europe, you’ll get some fresh practical perspectives on leadership and communication.
And many Others!
Just like last year, the break-outs are hosted by people from the community. Content is determined by the outcome of the co-creation form (google form).
This makes sure that both the topics and the speakers are relevant to all of. What I can already share is that we will have sessions on:
- Effective use of AI in Product Management by Youssef Hounat
- Impactful Product Strategy by Jason Knight
- Improving Leadership & Communication by Joy Adamson
- Making diverse teams thrive by Meg Porter

NEWS: AI MANIFESTO
I remaining silent on AI. That’s over.
Last week made me change my mind.
Three separate events fueled my new view: We are going in the wrong direction. 1. A big red flag around the mental health of our employees when using this: https://youtu.be/MW6FMgOzklw
It showcases serious research finding on AI induce Psychosis. Mind you: In HEALTHY adults.
Devil is in the details,
but let’s just say AI can create and feed hallucinations in people.
The ultimate sucky experiences when using it myself.I A/B tested three tasks with and without LLMS assistance:
a. A marketing text.
b. Geedback on an assessment
c. Troubleshooting email deliverability.
In all cases, when I did it without AI, I was bettter and faster. In EACH CASE there were major errors and wrong facts involved, even when I fed it counter proof. It failed to use the context, and would keep disagreeing when corrected.
I’m starting to see the reality of the meme where a dev used to code 1 hour and debug for 3, now they code 5min and debug for 24 hours.
My very trusted Dutch news source did this documentary (CC autotranslate is great): https://youtu.be/ucl6yBFKnBQHere’s 3 insights that stuck with me:
a. multiple experts say LLMs will never yield AGI and more computing power will not reduce error.
b. The horrible lives of ‘data labelers’ we don’t think about when using this. People get traumatised by data so sick it will turn your stomach.c. Karen Hao’s book Empire of AI showing the terrifying parrallels of these companies with one of the blackest pages of human history.
So..
We need to talk about this.
We can’t fully say ‘drop AI’.
That won’t work.
But we need to learn so much, before we make an informed decision on how we use this responsibly. Those learnings wont happen at your office. Which is why I’m committing part of the program of the Product Mastery Conference to this topic.
Yes, we’ll break it up with fun and relaxation, but we need to face this topic head on with the brightest minds in product.
My outcome of this is that we walk away with the equivalent of the Agile Manifesto, but for AI. The AI Manifesto?
If you skip making any real policy,
you potentially hurt your employees and business. Don’t miss this.
Will you be there?
– Martijn
